Residents of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands are U.S. citizens, but are not granted many rights as those living on the mainland. Both of these territories have a deep history of anti-Black racism and a continued legacy of racialized poverty and disenfranchisement.
To support residents, organizers, and people living and working on the frontlines in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, we've identified fundraising campaigns led by and/or that contribute directly to community members and community-based organizations.
